Some sessions just stick with you — this Kauai family session was one of them. We met up at Waimea Canyon, known as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” for a late afternoon shoot that brought together sweeping island views, soft golden light, and so much laughter.
This family of six wasn’t just visiting the island — Kauai is home. They own The Fresh Shave, one of Kauai’s favorite local spots for handcrafted shave ice. Their connection to the island ran deep, and you could feel it in every hug, every shared smile, and every playful moment between siblings.
