Stephanie and Nathan reached out to me only 48 hours before their elopement. Their original photographer had a medical emergency, so they needed someone fast. As a Tacoma wedding photographer, I was able to step in and help them keep their day stress-free.
We met in downtown Tacoma and started their celebration in front of Union Station. After that, we walked to Courthouse Square where their close friends waited with their sweet dog, Charlie. We took a few group photos, and of course, plenty with their pup.
Next, we moved to the Rialto Theater to capture a few final portraits before they headed to the courthouse to make everything official. Their entire elopement had an “Old Money” feel — simple, stylish, and full of love.
Because Tacoma offers so many unique backdrops, it’s an amazing place for small weddings and city elopements. From historic buildings to soft light reflecting off the streets, every corner adds something different to your photos.
If you’re planning a Tacoma elopement and want a calm, personal experience, I would love to help. As a Tacoma wedding photographer, I can guide you through locations, timing, and all the small details that make your day feel like you.
