For this shoot, we met in the woods just outside Arlington, WA. The forest was glowing with warm evening light, and every step deeper into the trees brought softer colors and a dreamy atmosphere. Because the location was private and quiet, it allowed this mama to relax, breathe, and be fully present.
We started along one of the open trails, which gave us simple movement and easy, natural poses. Then we headed into the denser part of the forest where the light filtered through the branches. This shift gave us a beautiful mix of soft, moody frames and warm, glowing portraits. As a Washington maternity photographer, these moments are always my favorite because they show the emotion and anticipation of this season of life.
